Ida Heck

Ida and her husband of 25 years, Ed, have four amazing children. Ida graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a Bachelor Degree in Education. She attended Towson University where she earned a Master of Education and Reading Degree. Ida presently teaches middle school in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

It is very important to Ida to give back to her community. So, she volunteers at Anne Arundel Medical Center as a patient advisor. Ida co-chairs the Women and Children’s Patient Advisory Committee and is a board member for several other committees. Ida dedicates her free time to the growth of the Celebrate Hope Foundation. As President, She works to spread awareness and raise funds for research of Sturge-Weber Syndrome, the disease her youngest daughter, Jenna was born with.
